I was talking to my favorite warlock on game tonight and I realised something- When you candidly explain IC to someone who has never even heard of it, it sounds really bad. He was actually worried that I was going to get something worse or even worse than that. When regular folks act that way, it just makes me wonder what kind of jerk doctor can look a person in the eye and tell them that they are not going to do anything for their pain. Or what kind of jerk can eviscerate someone they call a friend over it and claim knowledge of it.
I also hadn’t realised how much I have to go to the loo during game. He commented on it but, thankfully, understood the reason. I guess this means I’ll have to tell my go-to officer in the guild about it too… just what I need- talking to more strangers one on one about my bladder issues. But it really could potentially jack up a raid. So I guess I’ll suck it up and let them know. I should be coming out of my initiation period here soonish, so yeah. Stuff.

This is really under-handed of you. What did I do to you this month, pray tell? Was it the vegetable sushi that quite possibly was accidentally in the same state as some wheat? Is it because I have to have a period this month due to insurance reasons? Or are you just against the leveling of my Blood Elf? You are not obeying our agreement of 11-06, which clearly states that you agree never to bother me in such a manner as to refuse to respond to any pain medications ever again. You signed the agreement and you have abrogated it. Pyridium Plus is supposed to knock me cold and make you behave yourself and yet I am not only awake but you seem to think you need emptied, though I emptied you only ten minutes ago.
This is not funny. If I take P+, I cannot take any other analgesic for 8 hours and it is obvious you are not responding correctly to the medication. You did not respond to nettles, aloe vera, agrimony, or homeopathic. I protest most strongly this recalcitrant behavior and order you to cease and desist with your pain, your burning, and the frequency and urgency with which you demand attention. I will be on a war-footing with you in approximately 6 hours if you do not respond favorably to my demands.

I’ve been working on and off on the essences article today. So far I’ve tackled the charging with a crystal and earth charging sections. They might need a little refining but they are there. I’m thinking that the boiling method of flower essences might have to wait until spring to be updated as I have a personal theory about it that requires essences and boiled material to try. And well, there’s a serious lack of fresh plant material here at the moment, with it being winter and all. I’m currently researching the Bach method of preparing essences from boiled plant material… and it’s much easier than I had suspected but I’m unsure as to the true connexion one would have with the deva unless one tried connecting beforehand.
“The Boiling Method is used to prepare mother tinctures from flowers and twigs of the trees, bushes and plants which bloom early in the year before there is much sunshine. At about 9am on a sunny settled day, sufficient flowering sprays and leaves are collected to provide 1 part of plant material, which is placed in a glass vessel and 10 parts of water added. This is boiled for half an hour then allowed to cool. The solution is then decanted and filtered into a glass bottle. This is the basic Bach mother tincture, prepared by the Boiling Method. It is mixed with an equal volume of Brandy and vigorously shaken. It should be stored in a cool dark place.
This is further diluted 1 part in 500 with ethanol (22%) w/w. This final dilution approximates to the homoeopathic potency 5X “
I might tackle the strengthening of essences later today. I just feel slightly productive right now and want to run with it until the mood flees.

I have no life.
I sort of am disgusted with my Belf, ever since that ‘geggigjk!#$R! pally tagged my quest mob. I told Eloric that this Monday we would get totally smashed and level our Belfs until we sobered up. I usually don’t drink very much but I think this is a case that calls for alcohol and lots of it. I like the character but hanging around the Belf starting area makes me want to commit suicide with a dull plastic knife while simultaneously snorting wasabi up my nose, whilst reading The Crusader and submitting an online application to work again for the *Borg.
Got my first Heart of the Wild yesterday and my first piece of runecloth from the Western Plaguelands today. I know, not a big deal to most but it was to me. And I died and died and died in some troll temple near Raventusk. And died. A lot. Died. But on the upside- Lots of Wildvine. I just hit 280 on my alchemy and Eloric is all about me crafting him Elixirs of the Mongoose. Which is also why we went to the Plaguelands in the first place: No Plaguebloom, no Mountain Silversage. Must. Craft. Eloric. Potions.
Hmmm. Other than that, Versed has apologised to Eloric but it is too late for me and, it seems for him on our channel. The others are still peeved at him as am I.
And lastly- Doing a bit of Warcraft fiction in my spare time… which will have to go onI also have *sigh* laundry.

I’ll be updating the page on making Flower and Stone essences over the next coupla weeks or so. I was rummaging around my brain and located some points that I had neglected to mention- Like super-charging essences for longer/deeper effect, long-term charging (earth charging), essences made by the boiling method (still have to experiment more), and using “special” crystals to charge/deepen essences. Good times. I’m toying with the idea of including how to make essences from intangibles but it is pretty involved and the article is horribly long as it is. That, and well, I don’t want to be inundated with people who want personal lessons, which, oddly enough, has happened in the past. I don’t mind answering the odd question but I don’t think I feel like full-on teaching again… if ever, but that is a whole other entry entirely. But I am bent on writing out this portion of community service as I had to work for years to find all of this out. Saves people some trouble.
Changed the layout and put up a new brush set at the other site. Also, for some reason, people are bent on disbelieving that I am myself and are constantly telling me that I am ripping my own work. Look- I post almost the same stuff on DA as I do on my site because of the DA community: you reach a lot more people if you double post. If people can’t handle that- Tough. Stop visiting one or the other of my sites… or both. It won’t hurt my feelings. It’s a hobby I do, especially when I get a lot of pain, because it takes my mind off of the pain. The fact that others use the brushes is simply a plus.
Not much else to say, non-game-wise. Game-wise: Looking forward to the expansion. Also, yes- Versed was banned for 24 hours and he hasn’t said anything to anyone that I know of. I suppose Eloric will catch it at work tomorrow.
