Who is Azver?

In The Farthest Shore Azver is Master Patterner and is visited by Ged and asked about the evil that is swallowing up magic in Earthsea.

To Arren in the same book he is called the "Young Karg" and Ged tells how Azver sailed to Roke from Karego-At and showed up on the doorstep of the School saying in poor Hardic "I want to learn".

It had occurred to Azver, whose people venerate the Old Powers, that the Immanent Grove was the center of all of the magic on Earthsea and he said to the Masters "Teach me to live in that forest!"

In the story "Dragonfly", Azver the Patterner shelters Dragonfly/Irian in Otter's House by the Immanent Grove and takes her to listen to the trees. In this story we learn his name is Azver and that in Hardic his name means "banner of war".

Azver speaks with the eduevanu, the other voice, and prophesizes "Hama Gondun", the "Woman of Gont" who will either become the next archmage or will lead the Masters to him/her.

Azver is one of the people in The Other Wind who go into the dark land to tear down the wall.

Azver tells Tenar that he has seen Tehanu flying on the Other Wind with golden wings of fire.

What does "Arhada" mean?

In The Old Speech there is no name for the Trees of the Immanent Grove. They are called "Arhada" or "Trees", or "the trees of the grove" in Hardic.
