About
Kali is the seemingly-contradictory Warrior/Avenger/Mother Goddess of the Hindu pantheon. She destroys the ego and comforts the devotee, she tears away illusion and nurtures the seed of Truth. She is the birth-and-death mother, creating us and recieving our earthly vessel after we die.
Kali ushers in sweeping changes and is not hesitant to step in and rip away outdated ways of being or thinking to bring on this change. Once we accept death, our own mortality, She liberates us and gives us true freedom.

My Experience
Several years ago I met Kali while working with many goddess archtypes. Kali made her presence known in my life in two ways- by tearing away my precious tower of illusions (frequently and usually at work *L*) and by infusing me with the courage and confidence to continue thus naked and somewhat torn. Kali comes when you call, people, and She's not shy at all. She kicked me in the behind *several times* and I'm the better for it. Om Jai Kali Ma!
